The Lights at Temple Square

On December 30, we decided to venture on up to see the lights on Temple Square.  We figured it was late enough in the holiday break that maybe the crowds wouldn't be so big.  Hopefully Kendrick would be ok and think it was fun too!

We drove up to Murray and then hopped on Trax.  Kendrick had a good time on the train.  He loves trains!

There was still quite a few people looking at the lights.  It was also cold, but not terribly cold.  We did take a small stroller for Kendrick, which we were glad we did, because he didn't want to walk all the time and it was easier to keep track of him.
Fun times - maybe we'll make this a tradition.

We tried to get a pic with him looking.
Another holiday break was coming to an end.  I love Christmas break.  It is fun to have a break from work, drill, (sort of) and relax and do fun things with my family!

Merry Christmas!

We woke up early on Christmas morning and Kendrick was excited!  He ran downstairs and saw that Santa had come!  He got a train table, a "Bucky" pirate ship from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, jacket, clothes, and other fun toys.  We have video of all of that stuff.  Here are some pics of opening gifts on Christmas morning.

 Ready to open presents!
 Christmas hugs!
 Carefully opening the presents
 What's inside?
 A Thomas the Train shirt.

 More clothes!
A dinosaur shirt - that he wanted to wear right then!
A few hours later, he was out!  He was in a Christmas day coma!

Christmas is a special time and one of my favorite times of the year.  It is a lot of fun to have a small child now to share and see Christmas through their eyes!  I love it!  Sometimes I wonder where our lives would be without Kendrick.  He brings so much joy to our lives and makes every holiday and every day even more special than it was before!  I love my family!

Christmas Parties

School got out on December 20 and that night was our Ward Christmas Party.  They had dinner and a program.  And Santa was there.  Here is Kendrick sitting on Santa's lap.
Santa and Kendrick

The next day, December 21, was the Brenchley Christmas Party at Debbie's house.  We took some pics of the siblings and families.
Scott and his dad, brother, and sisters
Back - Scott, Tammy, Robyn
Middle - Debbie, April, Heidi
Front - Greg, Clark (Scott's dad)
Me, Scott, Amanda, Kendrick, and Hollie
Not the best lighting, but oh well!  And I had a head wrap on--didn't know we were taking pics! :)
Kendrick had fun playing with his cousins Bella and Kylie!

On Christmas Eve, we headed down to my parent's house in Levan.  We loaded up the car with all of our presents.  Here's some pics of Kendrick.  He was my little helper.
We opened the last day on the advent calendar.
That means Santa is coming tonight!
Some pics by the tree before we loaded up the presents.

He's growing up so fast!

We had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Mangelson's and then Amanda and Hollie opened their presents before they left to go back to Taylorsville.
Kendrick got to open his presents from Amanda & Hollie too.
 Amanda opening a cute sweater.
 Kendrick opening another gift.
 Hollie opening one.
 She got a cute top.
Amanda got some pajama bottoms and socks.
I liked the look Hollie was giving Grandma in this pic! :)
They gave Scott and I some popcorn and a movie.

We then attempted to take a grand kid picture.  It was quite the adventure.  Here are some of the best ones.
There were a couple people taking pics, so the kids are looking all different ways!

 Getting silly!
Then Alex woke up, so we added him to the mix.
Well, we tried!  They're all fun to look at.
 Merry Christmas from the Brenchley's
Scott, Molly, Amanda, Kendrick and Hollie

One of the presents that Kendrick opened was his Christmas jammies.
He was excited for Santa to come!

Drill Christmas Routine & Christmas Party

On December 17, the Ellevés performed our traditional "Christmas dance".  It is always a fun and "relaxing" performance for the team because it gives them a break from the competition routines!  I also like it because I love to be festive!  We performed one of our camp routines to a new Kelly Clarkson Christmas song called "Underneath the Tree".  It was fun and festive!
Walk on - holding hands = fun!
And it wouldn't be our Christmas routine without the red sequin Santa hats!
Plus the silver sequin dresses = cute Santa Babes!
 Fun to watch!
Small game, but we don't care.
Fun exit to music, holding hands!
 Merry Christmas from the Ellevés!
 Gotta have a fun pose!

A few days later we had our annual Christmas Pajama Party at Tori Little's house.  It was a lot of fun too!
 Another fun party!
We had yummy soups in bread bowls, salads, and dessert.

 Opening gifts!

 Great party and great team!
They always have a fun time together.
