Fall Break 2013

Fall Break was here again!  It began with a home football game for Maple Mountain.  The Elleves performed another routine that they had learned at PDC camp.  Here's some pics:
Ready to perform
As always - a crazy pose!

Planking it out to get some core strength before they head out to the field to perform!

 Brandi Gessel
 Emily Kessinger
The dance was entitled, "End of Time".
It was another great performance by a great team!

We didn't really make any plans for fall break since Scott was fairly new at his job and we didn't want to take any time off.  It gave me a chance to catch up on some things around the house and some school projects too.

We also decided to get Kendrick's three year old pictures takes and our family pictures taken during the break as well.  My sister and one of my friends had went to Camera Shy and so we decided to try them out.  Only Amanda was able to join us that day, but I think that it was ok, since she is still in high school and not really out on her own yet.  Kaycee is married and Hollie is older too, so I felt it was ok.  Also, we had to get it done, so we had to go with who could be there, right?

They started with the family pics first.  Here are few of my favorites:

Then they took a few of Amanda.  I think they turned out really good.

Then it was Kendrick's turn.  He started to get a little stressed and was tearing up.  I don't know if he thought we were going to leave him or what?
They took a few pics with Amanda holding him to see if he would lighten up.
They took a few couple shots of Scott and I.  This one is my favorite:
They were able to get a few pics of Kendrick that day, but not very many.  We had to come back the following Tuesday.  He was still a little bit apprehensive, so I had to leave him with the photographer and have them work their magic.  Here's a few of the pics:
 Still a little bit sad.
 Getting happy.
He was supposed to have the maroon shirt on alone, the blue top was to wear over the blue plaid one, but oh well, when you leave it up to the photographers and your son is being difficult, you just go with it!

They were able to get some pictures and that's all that mattered!  I will definitely remember this experience every time I look at Kendrick's three year old pictures.

After pictures, we went out for dinner at Wingers.  Kendrick had a birthday meal that we hadn't used yet.
He thought he was pretty cool when they came and sang to him!
 Scott enjoyed the wing dinner!

Another fall break was over and now it was on to other October events.
