Neighborhood Party

On June 4, 2011, our realtor, Jared Fields and our lender, Shawn Knudsen had a party for all of their clients and our neighborhood.

It was at the Bicentennial Park in Provo and they were barbecuing hamburgers and hot dogs, making snow cones, painting kids faces and making things out of balloons. There were big bounce houses too for the kids.

When we got there, they only had one grill, so Scott offered to go and get his. So, he ended up helping them cook!

Kendrick had a good time--it was great weather!

They made a dog for Kendrick. Now that's a dog I will allow in the house!
He loved it!
He also had a good time playing with a soccer ball!

Later that evening, when it got dark, the party continued on the grassy area at Copenhagen Court (where our condo is). They had a big screen set up and they showed the movie "Tangled". They also had a fire to roast marshmallows to make smores and they were popping pop corn. It was great.

We decided to try it out with Kendrick and see how he would be. He was good and fussed a little bit when he got tired, but then he went to sleep. We were able to watch the whole movie. I had seen the movie before, but I think I fell asleep, so I was glad to see it again and stay awake this time. It is a cute movie!

It was a great time and I was sorta sad since we would be moving soon and they usually do outdoor movies during the summer and we wouldn't be there any more to participate! Oh well--
